Ingredients
  • 1 frozen banana sliced
  • 1 tablespoon organic molasses I recommend Wholesome!
  • 1.5-2 tablespoons Gingerbread spice blend see note to make your own**
  • 2 tablespoons organic ground flax seed I recommend Bob's Red Mill
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk I recommend New Barn
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients into a large, high-powered blender (I recommend Vitamix) and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

If you want to add some serious Vitamin A and K to this smoothie, add 2 cups of spinach. The color won't look like gingerbread, but it will still taste the same and provide even more nutrition!

**To Make Your Own Gingerbread Spice Blend:
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (can also use ground ginger)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
