Looking for the top recipes to make in the new year? Here are our top 20 favorite healthy recipes from 2018, both in overall popularity and along with our personal picks.
Happy New Year, dear reader!
This is our first post of 2019, so we thought it'd be fun to look back at 2018 and see what ranked as most popular last year. In a few days, look out for a similar post where we'll share the most popular healthy living posts from 2018. For today, let's check out what was trending in the food and recipe realms!
Last year saw the explosion of some huge healthy food trends that have gotten so popular, it seems like they're not going to budge in 2019. Most notably, more people are experimenting with the ketogenic diet with delicious fat bombs as a staple–we can all get on board for that, right?!–and butter coffee as nourishing kick starter in the morning.
Then there are those on the Instant Pot bandwagon obsession (I'm definitely all aboard that train!), yet the classic slow cooker still reigns as a popular and reliable kitchen staple that will forever hold a place in our hearts and kitchen cabinets.
Green smoothies have stayed popular as a healthy, anti-inflammatory staple, while their boozy cousin–frosé, or wine slushies–have started trending on Pinterest (because who doesn't want to drink a delicious yet healthy frozen and fruity wine concoction!?).
Without further ado, here are the top 20 recipes from 2018 based on popularity and our team's personal favorites.
