Kate is a food journalist turned real food expert after her own chronic health issues catapulted her into a (time-consuming and expensive) journey of trying to heal her body. Turns out, the solution is simple: food heals!
She has now naturally reversed her diagnosis of hypothyroidism, PCOS, insulin resistance, Leaky Gut and IBS through diet and lifestyle, and she was even able to get pregnant on her first try and welcomed her beautiful baby boy in September 2018!
Kate guides her loyal community of readers (to date, she has a unique monthly reach of 200K+) in proactively improving their health through food, preventive and holistic wellness strategies and mindful living, while empowering them to enjoy a life free from chronic illnesses and toxic chemicals.
Kate has been interviewed on dozens of podcast including Food Heals Nation, Your High Vibration Life w/ the Green Smoothie Girl, The Dr. Taz Show and 180 Nutrition.
She also frequently writes guest posts for popular sites like Dr. Axe and Mind Body Green, and has been featured by prominent magazines like Shape and Women's Health and websites, including The Huffington Post and Buzzfeed. Kate has also written about food and travel for over 125 national magazines and newspapers including USA Today, EatingWell, Wine Enthusiast and The Washington Post, to name a few.
Not only that, but Kate has an innovative approach to how she utilizes her relevant and thought-provoking perspective to create multiple streams of revenue, inspiring others to think outside of the box in how they can expand their influence and income, and successfully implement unique strategies to create a sustainable and full time income doing what you love. #girlboss
In 2018, Kate started publishing monthly income reports to share what’s working for her and inspire others; she makes over $15,000 per month, all while only working 40 hours per month! She’s on track to make at least $150,000 in 2018, just her 3rd year of blogging.
Kate has been interviewed on dozens of podcasts including Food Blogger Pro (twice!), Dishing with Delishes and Chopped Academy.
Needless to say, she’s got a ton of opinions about food, health and wellness, not to mention the media industry, entrepreneurship, freelancing and blogging. She loves sharing ledge, recommendations and expertise.
