Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects as many as 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. It is characterized by an imbalance of male sex hormones and can lead to a number of problems, including difficulty getting pregnant, weight gain, acne and hair growth.
There are a few ways to manage PCOS with lifestyle changes, like reducing sugar intake and eating a healthy diet. You can also take herbal supplements that reduce the symptoms of PCOS. Herbs like dandelion root, burdock root and yarrow leaf have been shown to help with the pain caused by PCOS.

Thyroid Issues

The thyroid is a gland that produces hormones to regulate the body’s metabolism. The condition Hashimoto’s disease causes an underactive or over-active thyroid which can lead to weight gain and fatigue.
Hashimoto's disease is an autoimmune disorder that attacks the thyroid. It makes the thyroid produce too much of the hormone thyroxin, which can cause weight gain, fatigue, and depression.
The best way to treat Hashimoto's disease is to change your diet. Foods that are rich in iodine should be eaten to help balance out the hormones in your body. There are many herbs and supplements that can also be taken for Hashimoto's disease like kelp extract, vitamin D3, and zinc. There are also many lifestyle changes you can make like exercising more or reducing stress levels to help with symptoms of Hashimoto's disease as well.
Women who have this condition will have an increase in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone which can lead to bloating, mood swings, depression and anxiety. Thyroid issues can be treated by making lifestyle changes like incorporating protein into your diet, taking herbal supplements such as Rhodiola Rosea and Schisandra Chinensis (Chinese star anise)
You can also take vitamins such as Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3 and iodine. Taking these supplements will help stabilize your blood pressure and decrease your risk of heart disease.
